From the republican budget for 2018 KZT 422.3 billion will be directed for the development of the road sector, said Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov at the presentation of the bill "On the Republican Budget for 2018-2020" in the Senate of the Parliament, the correspondent of BNews.kz reports.

“For the development of transport and logistics infrastructure in the three-year period KZT 1 311.7 billion will be directed, including within the program “Nurly Zhol” KZT 397.3 billion” the Minister said.

In addition, from the republican budget for 2018 KZT 422.3 billion will be directed for the development of the road sector.

At the same time, work will be continued on the implementation of the major transport corridors "Center - South", "Center - East", Uzynagash - Otar, Zhetybai - Zhanaozen - Turkmenistan, Aktobe - Atyrau - Astrakhan.

“To continue the implementation of “Nurly Zhol” infrastructural development state program, expenses are envisaged in the amount of KZT 511.9 billion, of which KZT 242.7 billion is for 2018”, Sultanov added.

Within the framework of the program, in addition to the development of highways, work will be continued on the creation of engineering and communication and industrial infrastructure, co-financing of projects with IFIs under the framework agreements on partnership.
