Reconstruction of M-32 highway "Border of the Russian Federation (to Samara) - Shymkent" in South Kazakhstan oblast is being completed

Currently two sections with a total length of 81 km, which pass through Kyzyl-Asker settlement, Turkestan, the ancient city of Ikan have already been put into operation. Until the end of this year it is planned to put into operation the remaining five sections that pass through the ancient city of Ikan - Tortkol -Akshyganak, Badam- Temirlan – Altyntobe settlement, Chubar su-2 settlement, Shymkent - Shymkent bypass.

To date, ​​earthworks in the amount of 13 million m3 are performed, cement concrete pavement has been laid at 238 km, 30 bridges have been constructed. Along with this 14 transport interchanges, 6overpasses and 293 pcs. of pipes have been constructed. It shall be noted that overall more than 1,600 pieces of equipment and more than 10 thousand persons were mobilized under the project.

The section has been divided into 7 lots, there were 7 Contractors. We would like to remind you that the works on the road section M-32 "Border of the Russian Federation (to Samara) - Shymkent" have been carried out in South Kazakhstan oblast since 2011 within the framework of "Western Europe - Western China" corridor reconstruction project.

After the completion of M-32 road section "Border of the Russian Federation (to Samara) - Shymkent" km 2057-2260 will be widened to 4 lanes and transferred to I technical category.
