Work progress at Temirlan bypass of Ordabassy district of South Kazakhstan oblast within the framework of “Western Europe – Western China” project

"AKM-Planum" LLP is the General Contractor of “Temirlan bypass” section with the length of 14.8 km. Construction has been commenced in February 2012 and it is at the stage of completion.

At the moment milling works of existing pavement in Temirlan village and widening of road with placement of 2 layers of pavement from prorous and fine-grained asphalt concrete is being carried out.

Works on slope planning, guardrails installation and asphalt concrete pavement at transport interchange are being performed under main road at Temirlan bypass. 32 pieces of eqipment and machinery are involved in works, including 2 buldozers, 2 excavators, 1 loader, 2 autograders, 5 rollers, 1 asphalt paver, 15 dump trucks, 2 water sprinklers, 1 ACP, 2 CCP, 1 concrete paver. Work progress under bridges and overpasses is completed for 98%. Asphalt pavement works on bridges are completed. The remaining work is under slope strengthening. Construction of new bridge Naiman is passing the last stage of obtaining State Expertise of design.

Moreover, road is open for traffic at left side and till the end of this year it is planned to open road for traffic in both directions.

In general, together with Temirlan bypass in South Kazakhstan oblast there is also work performance at “Shymkent- border of Zhambyl oblast” and “Shymkent – Tashkent” road sections.
