Work progress under section km 742-774 of «Shymkent-Tashkent» road

Sinohydro Corporation Limited, Contrractor of section km 742-774 completed the works for acceptance and repair of benchmarks, the arrangement of road axes on the length of the road.

The works on measurement of graded elevation of the sections after milling of the existing pavement, measurement of graded elevations of subgrade, base course, cement concrete pavement, and checking of the levels of base and foundations of the culverts, underpasses and minor bridges for agricultural machinery are being carried out. To date, work there is carry being out construction of artificial construction on 5 sites. Completed works on the installation reinforced concrete construction on 39 sites. Balance work on the main road is 7 culverts and 30 pipes at ramps.

The following bridge and overpass works are being carried out: erection Т- beams on the bridge over the river Keles; open moving traffic for transport stream driveway on bridge over the river Sharbulak; erection of Т- beams at overpass at Turbat; constructon of protective layer on the right side, left side open for traffic flow on the bridge over the river BKMK.

Works on the overpass for agricultural machinery pass are completed.

Regarding communication lines the relocation of gas pipeline are completed and relocation of “TUSM-11” communication line are being carried out at two bridges across Sharbulak and Keles rivers; moreover relocation of “Kazakhtelecom” communication line is finished at bridge across BKMK channel and Sharapkhana village.

As on today 113 units of machinery and equipment are involved in work and 148 people are working on this section, including 19 foreign and 129 local staff.
