Joint venture «Azerkorpu/Tepe» (Azerbaijan/Turkey) has started the earthworks for Lot 7 “Shymkent By-pass” in South-Kazakhstan Oblast.

JV «Azerkorpu и Tepe» was established in June, 2010, which comprehends JSC “Azerkorpu” (Azerbaijan) b JSC “Tepe Insaat Sanai” (Turkey). Azerlorpu has been at the market of Azebaijan since 2002. Except for road construction and their maintenance, as well as the production of building materials, company deals in construction of residential, administrative buildings and structures, bridges, provision of market with qualified specialists and manpower, manufacturing of industrial and other product.

At present the Subcontractors – production cooperative “Shymkendorstroi” and “Energomost” LLP – execute the earthworks for Lot 7 “Shymkent By-pass” km 2231-674. Removal of top soil has been started at the interchange.

As Nazim Gadjiyev, Project Manager, informs till date there is no need in ground quarries/ The route has been completely leveled. The development of all plans, programs and schedules has been completed. Gravel sand mix, crushed stone and other materials have been procured in sufficient quantities for the commencement of construction works. Concrete mixing plants have been purchased with the capacity of 135 m³/h each.

As per the status for March 28, 2011, overall 81 units of machinery and equipment have been mobilized, as per plan 71 units for the current month, and personnel 104 people, including 19 – International and 86 – Local. Mobilization works will be continued as far as the quantities of road-construction works increase.

The company still does not have its own laboratory, therefore an agreement has been signed with the company “Fimarat Kurylys” LLP (Shymkent city) for performance of laboratory tests for the materials of road construction. The laboratory supply has been expected from Altai Region of Russian Federation.  

Contractor has purchased land with the area of 9/2 ha for production plant, and at present they have started its erection. There will be the Contractor’s and Engineer’s laboratories on the territory, as well as store premises, living premises for the staff, canteen, etc. There will be also proper conditions for storage and repair of the road equipment.
