218 km of Center-East road project (Astana-Oskemen) is put into operation. Works on this route is being performed on sections of Astana-Pavlodar (454 km) and Pavlodar-Semei-Kalbatau (462 km).

Volume of financing in 2016 makes up 60.5 bln. KZT. At the expense of allocated money the works are being carried out on 516 km (Astana-Palodar – 394 km, Pavlodar-Semei-Kalbatau – 122 km). “Acccording to the results of this year it is planned to open traffic on 200 km of Astana-Pavlodar section and to complete construction of bridge across Irtysh river”, told Mr. Asset Issekeshev, Head of MID RoK today of the meeting of Government.

Minister also told that initially it was planned to open traffic on two lanes until “EXPO-2017” and to complete Astana-Pavlodar section fully by the end of next year. However, there is deficiency in the amount of 20 bln. KZT as of today for the current year. In addition according to adjusted allocations of Ministy of Finance for 2017 the completion of this section is shifted to 2018.
