The works are continued regarding purchase of land plots for the state needs for the road section “Almaty – Khorgos” of International Transit Corridor ‘Western Europe – Western China”.

As per the status for October 10, 2011, the Employer, i.e. GI “Almaty Regional Department of Roads of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the RK” has purchased overall 589 land plots with the total area of 891.53 ha out of 675 land plots with the area of 1 017.53 ha, subjected to acquisition, by reimbursement of damages.

Overall round the region 769 land plots with area of 2 883.39 ha were subjected to acquisition, out of which 45 (802.51 ha) in accordance with the Decree of the Government belong to the state users and forest funds.

In stock of five districts of the region: Ili, Talgar, Enbekshikazakh, Uyghur and Panfilov there were land with total area of 1 036.65 ha for 11 land plots. And 38 land plots with the area of 60.60 ha are not subject to the purchase, as they were registered as ownerless and accepted for public foundation.
