On the 6^th of October, 2011, Berik Kamaliev, Minister of Transport and Communications of the RK, took part in XXXII meeting of Intergovernmental Council of Road Builders of CIS countries (ICR), which was held in the Palace of Peace and Agreement of Astana city.

 

At XXXII meeting of ICR the matters of improvement of standard base for road economy of CIS countries have been discussed, the results of implementation of the Protocol about international road of CIS and their development at the approach to the borders of adjacent states have been considered.

 

Also the matter of introduction of innovation technologies by associated members of council has been considered. During the discussion it was mentioned that wide and efficient submission of innovation decisions has been provided while conducting of the specialized workshops and exhibitions in the CIS countries.

 

During the second half of the day, after completion of the meeting, International Scientific-Practical Conference “Innovation Development of International transit Corridor” has been held.

 

Also, in connection with celebration in the current year of the 20^th anniversary of CIS, Council conducts a number of arrangements, devoted to this event. Here the 8^th International Exhibition “KazAvtoDor-2011” has been included, which was held in the exhibition complex “Korme” of Astana city on the 5^th -7^th October 2011. Conducting of the 2^nd International Specialized Exhibition-forum “Road” (12-15 October, Moscow), International Scientific-practical conference “20 years of Community of Independent States” (4^th quarter of the year, Minsk), “Weeks of CIS” in the CIS states have been also timed to the above anniversary.
