Additionally 8 multifunctional movable diagnostic road laboratories which carries out quality control of survey cameras, laser gages and georadars with issuance of results on the installed in TS airborne industrial computer were purchased within the contracts signed by contractor organizations involved in construction of “West Europe – West China” transit corridor, informs the press service of MID RoK.

Movable laboratories will be officially transferred to the Committee for Roads of MID RK with their further transfer to “Regional Road Laboratories” (in Aktobe, Atyrau, East-Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Kyzylorda and Pavlodar regions) where quality control of repair works and maintenance of general roads will be conducted with the help of it. Special training of employees of the Committee and Regional Road Laboratories will be conducted while transfering of movable laboratories.

Construction works of “Almaty-Khorgos” section (I category with 4-lanes and cement concrete pavement) are held within the reconstruction of “Western Europe - Western China” international transit corridor project.

The works are held on 8 sections of 304 km length, where 4 contract organizations are engaged: Doğuş İnşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş. and “Gülsan İnşaat Sanayi Turizm Nakliyat ve Ticaret” JSC, 2. “Todini & Impregilo & Kazahdorstroy” JV (Italy/Italy/Kazakhstan), “Evrascon & МО-1” (Azerbaijan/Kazakhstan), OHL ZS (Czech Republic). Works on these sections will be completed this year.
