The MIID summed up the results of the road projects implementation. Extensive work has been done.

Construction, reconstruction and repair work covered 10 thousand km of roads of republican and local significance.

Of these, 3.6 thousand km of roads of republican significance:

- Taldykorgan-Ust-Kamenogorsk

- Karaganda-Balkhash-Burylbaital-Kurty-Kapshagai

- Aktobe-Atyrau-Astrakhan

- Kalbatau-Maikapshagai

- Usharal-Dostyk

- Uzynagash-Otar

- Merke-Burylbaital

- Kostanai-Denisovka

It should be noted that during the construction season, 200 thousand people and 12 thousand Nos. of road construction equipment were involved in the projects.

At the end of the year, traffic was opened on 2248 km of roads of category I-II, with an increase in the strength of roads. Reliable transport links were provided covering about 120 nearby settlements, 6 bypasses were built in large settlements, and transport and transit traffic was increased by 2.5 times.

At the same time, the Kazakhstan maintenance of road construction amounted to more than 90%.

For the development of roadside service, 71 roadside service complexes have been launched, with the inclusion of a full service of roadside services: campsites, motels, gas stations, service stations, food and trade points, and so on.
