Kazakhstan continues to implement the Comprehensive Target Program, which is aimed at improving the road surface and ensuring traffic safety on roads of national importance.
Today road builders have produced about 490 thousand square meters of patching, irregularities were eliminated on more than 147 thousand square meters. In addition, 587 thousand meters of cracks were filled, about 9 thousand road signs, 323 Nos. of information panels were installed and replaced. Also, within the framework of the CTP, guard rails were installed and repaired for 24 thousand linear meters, markings were made for 23 thousand km of the carriageway. In addition, 13 Nos. of LED traffic signs and more than 327 running meters of bridge guardrails were installed.
Also, 188 car pavilions and rest areas were repaired, noise strips were installed on more than 2616 sq.m. road path. Also, experts installed 1681 Nos. of kilometer signs, road buffers in the amount of 206 Nos., more than 18 thousand signal posts and more than 26 thousand reflector signs.
Measures aimed at ensuring safety have a positive effect on reducing the number of road accidents and increasing the concentration of drivers. So, for example, noise strips help to increase attention to traffic situations, warning about the exit from the selected lane or approaching a dangerous section of the road. And at night, LED reflectors and road signs help you better navigate the road and stay awake.
Let us recall that work under the Comprehensive Target Program is carried out on an annual basis. To date, the plan has been fulfilled by more than 96%.
