Members of republican information-propaganda group, headed by the Minister of Transport and Communications of the RK, Berik Kamaliev, conducted tens of meetings with the community of this region.

At present, the main priority for implementation of the Presidents Message is the deserved celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Independence of Kazakhstan – he mentioned. Then he dwelled on the main success in economical, political and social development of the Republic of late years.

Reference: Overall length of the corridor through the territory of Kazakhstan is 2 787 km, and it passes through the territory of 5 regions. 2452 km of the highway are subject to reconstruction (Aktobe Oblast – 358 km, Kyzylorda Oblast – 812 km, SKO – 448 km, Zhambyl Oblast – 495 km, Almaty Oblast - 342 km). Total Amount of the Project is 804 billion tenge.

As per status for October 25 of the current year, more than 35 thousand people work for the project. In perspective it is planned to involve about 50 thousand people. More than 6 thousand units of equipment have been mobilized. Overall completion for the construction of the project is provided in 2013, which allows to reduce time for delivery of cargo from China to Europe by vehicle nearly 3.5 times, compared with seaway.
