Regular bus service will soon be opened between Kyzylorda - Astana, Almaty and several regional centers, reports BNews.kz.
The construction of the local section of "Western Europe - Western China" international transit corridor will be completed soon and a long-awaited road construction on the track "A-17- Kyzylorda-Zhezkazgan-Pavlodar-Uspenka-Russian Federation border" is ongoing. These two traffic arteries will connect Kyzylorda by regular bus lines with the capital and several regional centers. It is planned to lauch comfortable buses, tickets for which will be cheaper than to railway train, and hence travel becomes more available.
By the way, last year passenger traffic increased by about 13% in Kyzylorda region. But the inter-regional bus service is not developped well, a little more than a dozen goes daily to trip, and mainly to Turkestan and Shymkent. By the time, when two routes will be completed, new bus station will be constructed in Kyzylorda. Passenger services will be provided on the highest level.
