As of 30 July 2015 JV «Todini/Impregilo/Kazakhdorstroy», working at four sections of Almaty-Khorgos road, in whole is consucting works in accordance with the approved work program.

Construction of base from Crushed Stone with Cement at CH 659+00

The Contractor which commenced work at the end of October 2013, is performing works under construction of earthworks, subbase, base course, cement concrete pavement, constrcution of bridges, overpasses, culverts and cattle pass. Under lot 4 (km 171,1-km 214,3), section length 43,3 km, the Contractor carried out in percentage the earthworks 89 %, subbase – 52 %, base course form CSCSM – 17%, bridges and overpasses – 48%, culverts – 61 %, but it has not started yet works under cement concrete pavement.

Backfilling of culverts at CH 770+00

Under lot 5 (km 214,3 – km 259,3) section length 45 km, JV «Todini/Impregilo/Kazakhdorstroy» in performance percentage vs contract carried out earthworks - 83%, subbase – 22 %, base course from CSCSM – 21 %, cement concrete pavement – 14% and culverts – 76 %. At this section bridges, cattle pass and overpasses are not stipulated.

Taking cubes from cement concrete pavement at CH 385+00

Under Lot 6 (km 259,3 – km 304,4) section length is 45 km, constrcution of bridges, cattle pasesses and overpasses are not stipulated under this section. In percentage of performance vs contract under earthworks - 99 %, subbase – 67 %, base course from CSCSM – 61 %, cement concrete pavement – 53%, culverts – 100%.

Slope protection at CH 854+00

According to the materials procurement plan for 2015 under Lots 5 & 6 there is advance for procurement of crushed stone and sand, however under Lot 4 there is a lag on procurement of crushed stone, sand, gravel sand mix, sand, cement and reinforced concrete products.

Regarding equipment mobilization the requirement for 2015 is satisfied and mostly equipment and machinery of Subcontrractors are involved.

Overall 906 people involved on these sections, including 43 foreign staff, 863 people are citizens of Kazakhstan.
