The construction of the first section in South - Kazakhstan oblast of the "Western Europe - Western China" international transit corridor has been completed

The length of the section put into operation is 24 km. “Kukdong” South Korean company has constructed this section for about three years; "Kazdorproject" LLP was supervising the quality of construction. It should be noted that the construction has been completed on time. The completion, i.e. concrete placement, was held in a solemn ceremony with the participation of media representatives. The total cost of the project made up KZT 6.5 billion. But it is not the full completion of work for the Contractor, as still the road markings shall be done, road signs and enclosed bus stops shall be installed, and stations of sanitary stops shall be equipped.

Reference: South Kazakhstan section of "Western Europe-Western China" international transit corridor with total length of 448 km is being constructed by six Contractors.
