I would like to know when Almaty – Khorgos section wll be put into operation?
I have seen in questions from January 2017 that section Almaty – Khorgos has been already opened for traffic. Can I go from Almaty to the direction of Chundzha using this new road?

Dear Vitalii, at the end of 2016 “Almaty – Khorgos” road section was opened for traffic and you can go from Almaty ro Chundzha by this road. There are some remaining works like Road furniture this year, which will be completed at the end of June 2017, and then there will be 2 years of Defects Liability Period after which the road will be fully put into operation.
