Western Europe – Western China International Transit Corridor Project is implemented in the form of several separate projects, financed from different sources, and includes republican roads only. The road section of the Corridor in Almaty region runs from Almaty city eastward to Khorgos village which is at the border with People’s Republic of China. Also in this region reconstruction of the road section from Uzynagash village in Almaty region westward to Otar village in Zhambyl oblast is planned under Nurly Zhol state program. Kassymbek village of Almaty region is 10 kilometers to the east from Uzynagash, i.e. to the opposite direction, in other words your village is between these two sections of the road, and at the moment reconstruction of the road between Almaty-Khorgos and Uzynagash-Otar is not planned.
