Hello! I’m instrested in construction section fo Transport corridor “Western Europe – Western China” exactly the sections km 1650-1702 lot 6, km 1752-1807 lot 8 Contractors "Akkord/Okan" JV and section km 1702-1752 lot 7 "Imresa S.p.A" in Kyzylorda region. Why there is no any construction activity during year and a half? There is neither base, nor pavement and more over bridges and overpasses. On the sections of companies "Todini Construttori  S.p.A" and "Salini Costruzioni Generale S.p.A " the traffic has been already opened., the bridges and overpasses have been constructed. How are the companies "Akkord/Okan" and "Imresa S.p.A" going to complete the project?

      It is true that in 2010 on lots 6,7 and 8 there was serious backlog of the schedule by Contractors “Akkord-Okan” JV and “Impresa S.p.A.”

      At present with a purpose of defects elimination on lots 6 and 8 km 1650-1702, km 1752-180 (contractor “Akkord/Okan” JV) the additional staff is being hired and also the technique is being mobilized.
The subcontractors have been engaged for construction of bridges and overpasses. At present on both lots the construction of upper layer of the asphalt concrete base has started. The opening of the traffic on 68 km is considered by the end of 2011.
 
      On the section of km 1702-1752 lot 7 (contractor "Imresa S.p.A") the Engineer has approved the work program according to which it is required to complete 34 km of lower layer of coat by the end of 2011. For performing of planned quantity of work the number of technique will increased in 3 times. More over for construction work of bridges and overpasses it is planned the engagement of additional personnel and increasing of material-technique resources.  
 
      Construction Supervision Consultant issued a caution about contract termination in case of failed to elimination defects by the May 1st of the current year.
