- Good afternoon! I have looked through your website, but have not found the required information for road section Almaty-Horgos. Will the new road pass along the existing one or parallel to it?
Our commercial object is located along the road on the territory of Enbekshikazakh district. The representative of Akimat came to us, took copies for that object. However, they did not explain anything specific. They have just informed that the object will be possibly demolished within Project implementation “Western Europe –Western China”. Regarding this I would like to receive more detailed and specific information. Thank you!

- Implementation of the Project for Road Reconstruction “Almaty-Horgos” was planned on the concession base. However, the conducted negotiations did not give positive results.

Aiming at regulating of this matter, at present negotiations are conducted with the World Bank regarding provision of loans for construction of this section. In case of achieving approvals, bidding procedures for determining of the Contractor will be held in October 2011.

Project provides widening of the existing road to four-lane one, construction of by-passes for settlements and alignment of the road for some sections. Purchase of some land plots and demolition of the existing structures will be carried out for that. Full-scale and specific information about the purchased land plots will be published in our website only with the start of the Project implementation.
