- How do you do! I have been to Taraz recently. The works impressed me very much. Carry on, guys!!!
I have three questions:

1) We are electric assembly company — electric assembly works, lighting, and supply of lighting appliances. We would like to participate in the Project, your tenders. How can it be implemented?
2) As I learnt from your website, road Almaty – Bishkek will not be widened. What do you think, will the traffic capacity of the road be sufficient, especially where it becomes narrow (road section Uzunagach - Kordai)?
3) Why they pave coarse cold asphalt over good new asphalt for the route Almaty – Bishkek, road section Akterek - Kordai?

 Dear Kuanysh! Committee for Roads thanks for Your attention to the Project implementation and warm words, and in accordance with the questions asked, informs You as follows:
1. Electric assembly works have been provided in the construction and reconstruction projects for settlements and large interchanges, bridges (lighting), while relocation of the existing communications and structures, etc.
Considering small quantities, these works have been provided in the Contract for construction (reconstruction) of road sections. Regarding matters of supply and assembly of electric-technical equipment, You should apply to the Main Contractors (contact data of the Contractors have been placed in the section “Contacts” of the website www.europe-china.kz). Also, You can apply to the editorial staff of the website with Your request to publish Your proposal in the section “Announcements”.
2. Regarding road section “Almaty – Bishkek”. The road section was put into operation after rehabilitation in 2005. Span “Uzynagach – Bishkek” for its technical parameters corresponds to II technical category with 2 lanes movement. In the Project “Western Europe – Western China”, from the turn of the road to Otar station a new direction of the route has been provided to the settlement Blagoveshchenka, which reduces the length of the route for 20 km and reallocates traffic to Bishkek and Shymkent, by that relieving the road section Otar - Bishkek.
At the road section “Uzynagach – Otar” the works for widening will be carried out after completion of overhaul life and achievement of traffic volume the parameters of I technical category with 4 lanes after 2014.
3. In the current year for the road section “Akterek – Kordai” scheduled mid-life repair will be carried out with the arrangement of rough surface treatment (further – RST) for reclaiming of the wearing course. The works are carried out as per “Instructions for arrangement of surface treatment for highways” PR RK 218-55-2006, which provides arrangement of black crushed stone over the surface of distributed bitumen with further laying. Aiming at the safety and “getting accustomed” of crushed stone for the first three days after arrangement the speed is limited to 40 kph.
