- Project for reconstruction of highway “Almaty-Khorgos” has been planned for implementation on the basis of the concession. Ministry of Transport and Communications of the RK has conducted tender for determination of the concessioner. As only one company was interested in this tender, and its conditions proved to be unreasonable, precisely overrated. Therefore the decision was taken to exclude Project for Reconstruction of the highway ‘Almaty-Khorgos” from the list of the concession one and attract loans of International Financial Institutions. At present, the procedures are conducted for attraction of loans, after that tender will be conducted for determination of the Contractor.
