- How do you do! Will you tell me, please, how I could know, how many Lots have been still left for tender from the Road “Western Europe-Western China”? Is there any schedule of tenders for these Lots? Thank you. Faithfully Yours, company “KEIKAZ”.

Dear Nagavi Khamed Golamkhassan!
Till date, bidding procedures have not been conducted for the following road sections of the Corridor:
  1. “Taraz By-pass” (65 km, 1 Lot), tender is planned to conduct in the end of the year.
     
  2. “Shymkent-Border of Zhambyl Oblast” (79 km, 2 Lots), bidding procedures are conducted under the rules of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (pre-qualification bidding).
     
  3. “Almaty-Khorgos” (304 km, 8 Lots), negotiations are conducted with IBRD for allotment of loan. Bidding procedure is planned to conduct in the beginning of 2012.
     
  4. “Taskent-Shymkent” (102 km, 3 Lots), negotiations are conducted with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for allotment of loan. Bidding procedure is planned to conduct in the beginning of 2012.       
Tenders will be announced on the website of the Ministry of Transport and Communications www.mtk.gov.kz (Section Committee for Roads, Project “Western Europe-Western China”) and International Financial Institutions: www.worldbank.org; www.worldbank.org.kz, www.ebrd.com.
