- Dear Erbol! First of all, most and least road-building materials, which are applied during construction of Transit Corridor “Western Europe – Western China”, without fail, should comply with the requirements of Technical Specifications, accepted for this Project. If road-building material does not comply even with one of the parameters, irrespectively of the manufacturing country, it is rejected and not applied.

In case of compliance with Technical Specifications and equal prices the preference is given to the products of home manufacturer. Unfortunately, for today there is a lack of possibility to use the materials of only the domestic production for all 100% and respectively certain part of materials is imported from outside the Republic of Kazakhstan. Decision regarding adequacy of this or that road-building material, considering the above factors, has been made by Contractor or Engineer.
