- The length of the constructed road is large; more than 2500 km. Naturally, there is a question here: for what road sections is the construction for petrol-stop complex of international standard planned? Certainly, not such ones as at the approach to Balkhash city, but such as in Turkey, where the person can have his car refueled, wash himself, have his meal adequately, have a rest and not worry for his cargo.

-Dear Saken, to your question we provide you the following short information regarding perspectives for development of roadside infrastructure along the constructed Transit Corridor “Western Europe – Western China”. So. Program for development of the perspective trends for tourist industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by PPRK dated from October 11, 2010 No.1048 provides the construction of tourist cluster and objects of roadside infrastructure of three categories «А», «В», «С».
1. Category «A»: Tourist center (motel, agency of tourist service with information center, routes and places for rest and entertainments, restaurant/café, shops, toilets, petrol station, parking for trucks, car repair and tire-fitting repair) will be located for each 600 km. There will be overall 11 objects there.
2. Category «В»: Centers for rest (tourist information point, restaurant/cafe, shop, toilets, petrol station, parking for trucks, car repair shop, tire-fitting shop) will be located for each 90-120 km. Overall number will be 58, 24 out of them have been planned to construct till 2015.
3. Category «С»: Service center (shop, toilets, petrol station, parking for trucks, repair shop), i.e. points for short-term service will be located for each 50 km.
At present the works are being executed for determination of exact points of the location for all the above roadside service objects, as well as for attraction of investors for their construction.
