The designed road “Almaty – Khorgos” will pass around settlements and provides rehabilitation of existing and construction of a new road, which respectively supposes acquisition of land plots, including agricultural lands of owners and land users. At present acquisition of land plots has been completed for 98 %. This work has been carried out by Akimat of Almaty Oblast.

To provide publicity of the project overall 10 public hearings have been conducted (in Enbekshikazakh, Panfilov, Talgar, Ili and Uigur districts), during which various matters regarding project implementation have been discussed, including plan of the route.
