- Good afternoon! Will you tell me, please, what quantity of cement is used for road construction? I would like to know, perhaps, approximate figures. Thank you.

Dear Irina, as for your information, there are Asphalt Concrete and Cement Concrete Pavement Roads at present are being constructed under the Western Europe – Western China International Transit Corridor. In South Kazakhstan Oblast (SKO) Section, Cement Concrete Pavement Roads are being constructed where on an average 2400 tons of cement for each Kilometer of road are being used for the construction of 4-lane (2x11m) carriageway in two direction. The total length of the road with cement concrete pavement in SKO is 240 km.
