But now everything is bad, whenever you visit the website information is always the same. The project has not ben completed yet, but the news appear not often. There is little information (bidding procedure, maps, slides) for the road section Shymkent-Taraz and Almaty-Khorgos. And you have stopped answering the questions. The Section ‘Questions-answers” has even the questions of the last year, which are not answered. It looks like you threw this website to the mercy, and/or reduced the staff for 99%.
Will you answer, please, this website will continue to work as, for example, in 2010-2011, or we, the readers, cannot visit it with the hope that we will learn something? And why for a long time you do not answer the questions of the community or answer only those “you liked”???
Dear Ermek, first, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for the fact that you are worried about future of this internet-resource, which was established in 2010 with the purpose of information support of Western Europe – Western China Project! You are quite right regarding the fact that this website was really being operated well up to March 2011. The fact is that the work of this website on voluntary basis has been provided by Project Management Consultant (hereinafter PMC) SNC Lavalin /JSC KazdorNII. Last year, i.e. in 2012, labour contracts with some specialists of PMC, who were involved in the work of the website, were expired.
Since July 2012 the work of the website has been started again. At present the work has been continued for the renewal of its Sections as follows: News, Photo Gallery, Mass Media about the Project, Questions-Answers. The latter’s, i.e. the questions, have been accumulated for a very large quantity during the period of suspension for the work of the website. However, at present, the answers have been given to nearly all the questions. For the rest of them the answers will be given at the nearest.
As for the road section “Shymkent – Border of Zhambyl Oblast”, at present the bidding procedures are in progress for determination of the Contractor for Civil Works for its reconstruction in accordance with the rules of international bidding. Information about the results of the bidding (winner) will be published on the official website of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan: www.mtс.gov.kz as well as on pages of this website. Commencement of Civil Works has been planned for the current year. Thank you for your question.
