- How do you do! Why did they cover the surface of the main road Aktobe – Khromtau and up to Karabutak with resin and filled with gravel in 2011-2012? The stones fly away of each car like machine turn. What for they have made it? And now it is impossible to pass there! As a result the fine for broken glass and headlights! It is not Europe here, otherwise they have been taken to the court long ago, and they have learnt to carry out their work at once. Will they construct asphalt pavement again in 2013? It is the highway where Western Europe – Western China Trannsit Corridor passes!

Middle repair of asphalt concrete pavement with surface treatment has been carried out in accordance with the mid-term period. This technological procedure of construction for pavements of thin layers has been aimed at provision of water resistance, wear resistance and density of pavements. Surface treatment has been applied as protection layer, which covers and protects the main constructive layers of pavements from early destruction in bad weather, as well as wearing course, which is subject to wear during traffic, preserving the road structure in the best way. Such layer requires only regular renewal to give the road structure its original qualities. Also its application is in the fact, that the constructed wearing course of pavement with characteristics of roughness provides cohesion and good drainage of surface waters, resulting in a considerable threshold of aqua planning. In the current year similar works have been planned to carry out for a number of road sections of the highway from Karabutak to the border of Kostanai Oblast.
