Good afternoon! Is it possible to go from Bishkek to Orenburg? Which parts of the road are open to traffic? Are there places for rest? Thank you.

Dear Rashid, there is the road towards the border of the Russian Federation, and moreover it was recently reconstructed under the category I and II with rest areas with trestles. You should follow the following route: "Merke - Taraz - Shymkent - Kyzylorda - Aktobe - Martuk - border of the Russian Federation". Concerning question of open sections of the road from the city of Aktobe to Kyzylorda region there are some sections under construction, and the traffic is carried out on the bypass road. Approximate length of bypass road is 200 km. In the remaining sections all construction works had been completed and the road is open for traffic.
