Question №307
May 11, 2014
Andrey Kim | Moscow city

How do you do! I follow with interest the news on the road construction, but I can not understand the issue about the status of the construction sections from Aktobe to Shymkent.

In the answer to question No. 293 you have written:
«from the border of Aktobe oblast to the border of Zhambyl oblast is 1132.1 km and the work is almost completed throughout this section, except for 42 km in the area of the Zhalagash settlement; 1.5 km in the area of the Aral settlement and 1.9 km near the Shagan village, i.e. on these sections passage goes on the bypass in Kyzylorda oblast. In South-Kazakhstan oblast works are performed on Temirlan bypass 14.8 km»
Therefore the overall is 60.2 km of bypass.

However after a month in respone to question No. 303 dated 30 April 2014 there is different information.
“Concerning question of open sections of the road from the city of Aktobe to Kyzylorda region there are some sections under construction, and the traffic is carried out on the bypass road. Approximate length of bypass road is 200 km.”
I will be grateful if you provide precise information on road status.

Dear Andrey, we clarify previously provided information on the bypass roads with the length of 200 km. The length of bypass roads from Aktobe region border to Shymkent is 60.2 km, as indicated in the answer to question No. 293, and further from Shymkent to Zhambyl region border the length of the reconstructed section is 80 km. And there is also bypass of Taraz with 60 km length.
