Being in the center of Eurasia, between the two poles of the world economy, Kazakhstan pays special attention to the implementation of transit potential.

The head of state in his Address to the Nation of Kazakhstan “Kazakhstan in the new global reality: growth, reform, development" gave a special role to the issue of infrastructural development in the transformation of the country.

This year active implementation of the State program of infrastructure development "Nurly Zhol" started, which envisages the construction of highways in five key areas. These are: Center - North, Center - East, Centre – South, Centre - West and Almaty - East.

All these areas will form a well-developed national road infrastructure with the integration into the international network of transit corridors.

Development of transit potential requires advanced development of transport and logistics infrastructure and formed network of transport corridors.

The commissioning of the "Western Europe - Western China" international transit corridor section in Aktobe region has intensified efforts to attract investors to the development of roadside service.

This year, as part of the 58 steps of the Nation Plan the head of state signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on development of transport infrastructure. According to the Law the National Company "KazAutoZhol" endowed with new powers for the development of roadside service.

In order to implement it today, the Company analyzed the status of roadside service facilities and started to work in this direction.

Currently, 3028 service facilities are located along the roads of national importance, of which more than 170 facilities are located in Aktobe region.

Most of the roadside service facilities does not meet the requirements imposed on July 1 of the National Standard and is not able to fully provide the services to international transit and domestic demands.

Today, the akimat of Aktobe region held "round table", in which Akim of Aktobe region Mr. Berdybek Saparbayev, the Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC" KazAutoZhol" Mr. Ermek Kizatov, representatives of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and businessmen of Aktobe region signed a network contract for the development of roadside services, which clearly defined obligations of the parties.

Network contract Signing will allow enterpreneurs to confidently promote their business in growth points on the roads of national and international importance.

According to the signed contract, "KazAutoZhol" company and akimat of Aktobe region are committed to assist entrepreneurs in the provision of land, registration of necessary documents. National Chamber of Entrepreneurs will support entrepreneurs in the creation of favorable legal, economic and social conditions.

Existing service facilities and utilities is planned to modernize and supplement with food service area, trade, motels, campsites and gas stations. At the same time all the complex facilities will comply with national standards of Kazakhstan.

Moreover, under the agreement signed in November between the company "KazAutoZhol" and the International Road Transport Union, it provides location of service facilities, meeting national standards on the international map TransPark.

In future, national operator "KazAutoZhol" will continue to work on the development of roadside service and bringing it into line with international standards throughout the country.
