This was reported by Mr. Berdybek Saparbayev, Akim of Aktobe region, during press conference at the Information Center "Aktobe akparat". Head of the region announced the interim results of the practical implementation of the Nation’s Plan "100 concrete steps" in the region, reports BNews.kz.

B.Saparbayev told about measures taken by authorities to implement the instructions of the Head of State regarding the integration of Kazakhstan into the international transport and communication flows, reports information center "Aktobe akparat".

In 2013 the construction of the "Western China - Western Europe” international corridor section with the length of 628 km was completed and put into operation.

Major projects for the development of transport infrastructure will be implemented in the region in 2016. Within the framework of the state program "Nurly Zhol" 319 km of "Aktobe-Atyrau-Astrakhan Russia" road, passing through the territory of our region will be reconstructed. Construction and installation work on sections of this road will commence in the current year. This project will be completed before 2020, in 2016 it is planned to reconstruct 5 km road in Bayganin District for the amount of 1.2 billion tenge.

"Center - West" project is among the priority ones which will connect Astana with Arkalyk, Torgay, Irgiz, Shalkar, Kandyagash with access to the sea port of Aktau. At present the feasibility study of the project has been completed. Its implementation is very important for our region, because the project will provide good transport links to rural areas of three districts of the region and will stimulate the development of small and medium business", - emphasized Berdybek Saparbayev.
