Trafic is open on 252 km of road in the framework of Center-West road project (Astana—Aktobe- Atyrau-Aktau). At the moment works are being carried out on the section of Beineu – Aktau road with the length of 470 km. This year 180 km of road will be completed. Also works are being carried out on 26 km of road between Aktobe and Atyrau, which will be completed next year.

Sections “Astana-Arkalyk-Torgay-Shalkar-Kandyagash”, “Aktobe-Makat” and “Atyrau – Astrakhan” will be reconstructed at the expense of loans from IBRD, ADB and IDB. At the second half of current year it is planned to sign Loan agreements. It is planned to commence full scale works starting from 2017. Works will be completed in 2020”, told Head of Ministry of Investments and Development of RoK on Monday at the meeting of Government.
