It is planned to construct 41 facilities along the Western Europe – Western China road corridor, as of today 22 facilities with the investment of 4 bln. 857 mln. KZT were put into operation.
In 2018, for repairing of roads of the local network 145.9 billion tenge (RB - 57.7 billion tenge, MB - 88 billion tenge) is allocated from the republican and regional budgets, compared to 2017, the funding increased by 58.9 billion tenge.
Overall for the development of roadside infrastructure along the Western Europe - Western China corridor it is planned to construct 41 facilities, as of today 22 facilities with investments of 4 billion 857 million tenge were put into operation. In the Mazhilis Vice Speaker of the Chamber Vladimir Bozhko said: <<This is part of the discussion of the development of highways in the framework of the program for infrastructure development "Nurly Zhol" for the 2015-2019 years>> the correspondent of BNews.kz reports.
"The President's order, given in the Message on increasing the annual financing for the repair of the local road network up to KZT150 bn., has been fulfilled. Totally, in 2015-2017, 4 000km of local roads were repaired, "Bozhko said.
According to him, measures are being taken on the development of roadside infrastructure.
"It should be noted that in this direction the Kyzylorda Oblast actively works on Western Europe - Western China route, where the construction of 41 objects of roadside service is defined. At present, 22 faciliities with investments of 4 billion 857 million tenge have been put into operation, continued- Bozhko.
He noted, that these roadside facilities, as a rule, in the complex include hotels, cafes, service stations, gas stations, they are attractive for their architecture and a set of household services.
"Until the end of 2018 in this region it is planned to put into operation 7 more facilisties for the total amount of 1 billion 244 million tenge. And we can say with confidence, that it will be attractive roadside facilities, significantly affecting the replenishment of the regional and district budgets"- summed up Bozhko.
