According to the instructions of the Head of State since 2015 the State program “Nurly Zhol” is being implemented, designed to improve the well-being of the people, improve the standard of living, and bring to new level of economics and infrastructure of our country.
Generally on the results of the implementation of the state program "Nurly Zhol" in the period 2015-2017, about 1.8 thousand km of republican roads were built and reconstructed.
At this work the implementation of the state program is not terminated. Moreover, this year construction work is underway with increased intensity on 23 road projects with a coverage of 4,2 thousand km. Out of these, 22 transition projects, from which 10 projects are implemented through loans from international financial institutions, a total length of 2,900 km, so that by the end of the year, traffic will be open on 528 km of roads.
Also in May 31, the work on construction of the Big Almaty ring road "BAKAD" on the principles of PPP has been commenced with completion in 2021.
In general, in the implementation of projects "Nurly Zhol" taking into account local road network 100 thousand people are involved.

At the same time, in the framework of the state program “Nurly Zhol”, as well as the Message of the Head of State sounded on January 10, 2018 this year additionally allocated from RB and LB on a parity basis funds in the amount of 60 billion tenge, due to which more than 4 thousand km will be repaired.
In general, in the medium term, it is planned to increase the allocation of funds to 150 billion tenge annually on a parity basis (50x50), which will make it possible to bring the network to 2025 in good and satisfactory condition, up to 85% (currently 66% in good and satisfactory condition).
Also, special attention is paid to the development of roadside service facilities.
Nowadays, according to inventory the republican network has 1859 units facilities, of which following the results of the I-half of the current year of 42% (780 units) of facilities conforms to the National standard.
By the end of the year, it is planned to increase the total number of national standards to 850 units or 45% of the total number of road service facilities.
In addition, along with the improvement of existing facilities, work is underway on the construction of new facilities with a full range of services and installation of modular type pavilions "KazWay" according to the requirements of the National Standard.
Work is being carried out on entering information about service facilities into a digital map IRU Transpark, Google Maps, Yandex Maps.
