On October 31, 2018, the first deputy of akim of Zhambyl oblast Bekbolat Orynbekov took part in the solemn ceremony of opening of "Korday Bypass" km 162-260, with a total length of 80 km in the second half of the new road.
During the event, deputy akim of the district thanked all the guests and residents of the district and all participants of the reconstruction project. A festive concert was organized within the event. The event attracted the attention of people and mass media of the region.
The project was implemented at the 2nd stage by contractor LLP "Kazakhdorstroy", which includes:
the first stage - 40 km, 8.527 billion tenge has been allocated from the republican budget, from 2015 to 2017. The Employer is the RSE "Zhamblzhollaboratory".
The second stage - 40 km, the amount of 9.240 billion tenge was allocated from the republican budget for 2017-2018. "KazAutoZhol" NC " JSC is the Employer.
Over 400 workers and 200 road-building machinary were involved in the project implementation.
Within the framework of the project 2 small RMD, 1 road patrol service, 1 agricultural machinery passage were considered.
The new corridor of «Korday bypass» will pass through all the settlements in Korday district of Zhambyl region. The road, which has been used until today, passes through Sarybulak, Betkainar, Korday, Alga settlements, and the total length is about 100 km, the advantage of rebuilt new I-B category road is that the duration was reduced by 20 km and without the settlement, it was significantly reduced pedestrian time. Also, the Korday bypass duration was reduced to 17 km (60%), the length of the current passage is 27 km, the length of the new I-technical category road is 10 km.
In addition, construction of "Otar-Uzynagash" road I-b technical category with a length of 16 km has started as a continuation of the "Western Europe - Western China" international transport corridor. Project implementation period is 2018-2021.
