Progress of Reconstruction Works on Aktobe-Atyrau-border of the Russian Federation (to Astrakhan)

To date the road workers have completed construction of bypass road and removal of top soil on Aktobe-Atyrau-border of the Russian Federation road. 21,1 km of the bypass road is open for traffic. Moreover, 5 service platforms are constructed on the bridges, 84 nos. of piles of the bridge abutment over the Shagyrly river and 60 nos. over Shubikeh river. The piling works are also carried out on the Kishi Kuygen river.

In addition, as for construction of the Road Maintenance Depot, the foundation of the building has already been completed. Currently the specialists construct the walls of the building, garage for 10 units of machinery, operator’s office and sand pit.

Totally, 158 people and 132 units of the road construction machinery are involved in the works. 20 km of the road are planned to be open by the end of this year.
