Merke-Burylbaital (km 7-273) Project Implementation started in Zhambyl Region

262 km Merke-Burylbaital road is divided by 4 sections for reconstruction, where 86-km-long road section, from Merke to Shu, will be reconstructed up to I Category with 4 lanes. The remaining 176 km long 3 roads sections from Shu to Burylbaital will be II Category with 2 lanes.

The road will run through the villages of Tatti, Shu, and Birlik.

The reconstruction project includes the construction of 6 nos. of Bridges, 3 nos. of Railway Overpasses, 11 nos. illuminated Transport Interchanges, 276 nos. of Culverts, Rest Areas, and Covered Bus Stops. Wear-resistant crushed stone and mastic asphalt concrete pavement will be constructed on the Merke-Burylbaital Road.
