Reconstruction Progress on Aktobe-Atyrau-border of the Russian Federation (to Astrakhan) Road km 833-893

Currently, on km 833-893 section of Aktobe-Atyrau-border of the Russian Federation (to Astrakhan) the culverts are being constructed and gas pipeline and underground utilities are being relocated.

To date, 8 km of the lower base layer from a soil-mineral mixture have been completed, 7 km of the sand and crushed stone base course, and 4 km of the coarse asphalt concrete wearing course. Construction works are carried out by line process on pavement courses.

35.7 km of bypass road is open for traffic. In addition, the road workers keep on constructing RMD, including constructing foundations, walls, floors and roofs.

Totally, more than 250 people and about 180 units of equipment are involved and mobilized in the works on 60-kilometer road section.
