The total length of the project road section of Nur-Sultan South-West bypass is 34 km. Traffic on it is planned to open this year.

The Reconstruction Project includes construction of 4 Transport Interchanges (Kabanbai Batyr, Kosshy, Korgalzhyn and Tlendiev), 3 nos. of Bridges (Nura-Ishim Bridge, Esil Bridge (main channel), Esil Bridge (river branch), and 3 overpasses (Kabanbai Batyr, Kosshy and Korgalzhyn).

To date, the road workers have completed construction of the coarse-grain asphalt concrete course, subbase and culverts on 32 km of straight road. Construction of C4 SSCM  base course and coarse-grained asphalt concrete continues at transport interchanges. When constructing wearing course high-performance stone mastic asphalt concrete has been used. More than 775 nos. of Personnel and about 418 nos. of Road Equipment have been mobilized to the site.

It shall be noted that the construction of the bypass will reduce the load on the transport system of the capital, travel time spent by road users, and also contribute in improvement of the environmental situation in the city of Nur-Sultan.
