Full-scale work is ongoing on the projects: Taldykorgan-Kalbatau-Ust-Kamenogorsk, Karagandy-Balkhash, Balkhash-Burylbaital-Kurty, Merke-Burylbaital, Usharal-Dostyk, Atyrau-border of Russia, Uzynagash-Otar, Kalbatau-Maikapshagai and Construction of Shamalagan Overpass. The Minister instructed to expedite the works complying with the sanitary and epidemiological standards and ensure the opening of traffic on the reconstruction sites.
During the conference, the development of the local network was discussed. In total, 4,000 km of the local network will be repaired in 2020. The need to draw special attention of the regional akimats to the quality of the works performed was also mentioned. The National Center for Quality was instructed to carry out control in the regions of the country. In addition, it was recommended to akimats of the regions, the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, and Shymkent to provide 50/50 parity financing for construction, reconstruction and repair of the facilities.
The development of roadside services is also under the special control of the Ministry. Today, there are 1,838 roadside service facilities along the republican roads, 930 of which meet the requirements of the National Standard. The best service facilities are located in Atyrau, Kostanay, Akmola and Kyzylorda oblasts. Among those lagging behind in terms of this indicator are West Kazakhstan, Turkestan, Mangistau and North Kazakhstan oblasts. An instruction has been issued to improve the works on the development of roadside services and bring it in line with the national standard, as well as to work on attraction of investments in the business development at the recreation sites and to intensify the work on provision of land plots in the roadside for businesspeople.
