As part of the current road construction season, more than 3 million tons of asphalt concrete pavement have been laid on national roads to date. In addition, 18 bridges and 6 cattle passes were built, 325 culverts were installed.

Construction and installation work is being carried out at the road facilities “Karaganda-Balkhash-Almaty”, “Merke-Burylbaital”, “Taldykorgan-Kalbatau-Ust-Kamenogorsk”, “Kalbatau-Maikapshagai”, “Atyrau-Astrakhan”, “Aktobe-Kandyagash”, “Unege-Bisen-Saykhin” and others.

In general, about 200 sections of roads of republican significance are covered by construction work throughout the country. Thus, work continues on the reconstruction and repair of roads of republican significance over 7,000 km, of which 4,000 km are covered by reconstruction/construction, and about 3,000 km are repaired. More than 7 thousand personnel and about 5 thousand Nos. of equipment are involved in current projects.
