South-Korean company “Posco Engineering” has been indicated to serious omissions during mobilization works, with which backlogs in time schedules are connected.

 There are backlogs in time schedule, which is connected, first of all, with mobilization work, with allotment of quarries, with protracted procedure in signing contracts with Subcontractors – admits Victor Ivannikov, Deputy Supervision Engineer, representative of CSC “Kazdorproject” LLP. However, the Contractor promises to catch up with the backlog at the nearest.

Subcontractor ‘NurTransStroi” works with the company “Posco” at km 2142 – 2160. At the moment they execute works for removal of top soil and compaction. Small road section has been constructed by the Contractor himself. The work for determination of quarries has not been completed yet, more specifically with their owners.

Production facilities will be located near “Staryi Ikan” village at the km 2138. Cement concrete plant, administrative and residential facilities will be located on its territory. Head office of the Contractor will be also located here.

Conditions for the staff residence leave much to be desired. Regarding this the Contractor was given complaints more than once. Till date there is no laboratory there. Alternative for its lease is being considered.

Engineer’s Service has been overall completed. As per the status for May 13 of the current year, 149 people have been mobilized. International staff, 12 people, have been mobilized from South Korea They are Surveyors, Financiers, Lawyers, Laboratory Engineers, Road Engineer, Project Manager.
