Minister of Transport and Communications, Berik Kamaliyev will get acquainted with the course of the project "Western Europe - Western China" in South Kazakhstan region.
On August 25, 2011 Minister of Transport and Communications, Berik Kamaliyev, will visit South Kazakhstan Region in order to get acquainted with the construction under the project "Western Europe - Western China".
Reference: In general, 448 km are to be reconstructed the region. Currently, construction works are carried out in 6 sections with total length of 224 km by the companies' Azerkorpu / Tepe "," Kukdong Engineering "," Sinohaydro "," Copra / Seyser "," POSCO Engineering "and" Dena Rahsaz. According to the project the existing road will be reconstructed under the technical category I with 4-lane traffic.
Up to date, about 4.5 thousand people are involved, over three thousand of them are local staff. 989 units of road-building machinery, 9 cement concrete plant, 6, crushing plants have been mobilized.
Since the commencement of construction over 3 million m3 embankment have been imported, 33.9 km of sub base have been constructed, 209 000 m3 478 000 m3 of gravel sand mix, and 4700 m3 of reinforced concrete have been procured.

During the visit, Minister Berik Kamaliyev got familiar with the pace of construction at the sites of companies "Kukdong Engineering", "Sinohaydro", "Copri / Seiser", "POSCO Engineering" and "Dena Rahsaz."
