The works are in progress for purchase of land plots for the state needs at the road section “Almaty – Khorgos”.

As per the status for October 10, 2011, the Employer, i.e. GI “Almaty Regional Department for Roads” of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the RK have purchased overall 589 land plots with common area of 891.53 ha out of 675 land plots, subjected for acquisition, with area of 1 017.53 ha by compensation of damages.

All over the region 769 land plots were subjected to acquisition, with area of 2 883.39 ha, including 45 (802.51 ha), which, pursuant to the Decree of the Government, belong to the government users and forest funds.

In the stock of five districts of the region (Ili, Talgar, Enbekshikazakh, Uigur and Panfilov) there were lands with common area of 1 036.65 ha for 11 land plots. And 38 land plots with the area of 60.60 ha are not subjected to purchase, as they are accounted as ownerless and transferred to the public fund.
