As per status for November 22 of the current year, construction works are in progress for road sections in Aktobe, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and South-Kazakhstan regions with total length of 1 734 km.

Overall 6 thousand units of road equipment have been mobilized. 30 asphalt concrete, 24 cement concrete plants and 32 crushers are operated. Altogether 35 thousand road builders have been involved in construction works. Including 34 434 people are local staff and 566 people are international staff.

As per status for November 22, 2011, the following scope of works has been executed: earthworks – 23.3 million cubic meters; base course – 756.3 km; total pavement – 728.1 km, including: asphalt concrete pavement – 526.5 km; cement concrete pavement – 201.6 km.

40 km for road of II technical category is planned to arrange in Aktobe Oblast to the end of the current year. 460 km of road are for Kyzylorda Oblast. Plan for pavement in one direction for South-Kazakhstan Oblast is 55 km. 195 km are planned to arrange in Zhambyl Oblast.
