Head of Transport Department, B. Kamaliev, instructed Contractors, working in Zhambyl Oblast, to provide overall disbursement of funds and completion of all the scope of works in accordance with time schedule.

On the 25th of November, Berik Kamaliev, Minister of Transport and Communications of the RK, conducted the meeting regarding progress of construction works for the road sections in Zhambyl Oblast within implementation of the Project “Western Europe – Western China”. Reports regarding carrying out of work programs and disbursement of funds were submitted by administration of Zhambyl Regional Department of the Committee for Roads of MTC RK and Project Managers of the Contractors. Project Management Consultants also participated in the work of the meeting.

Based on the results of the discussion of the matter regarding carrying out of work programs and disbursement of funds for this Project, Committee for Roads has been instructed to compile schedule for procurement of the materials by Contractors for the next working season and establish tight control of the progress for its execution.
