Laying of 800 km of the main road “Western Europe – Western China” has been completed in the current year

During briefing of the Service for Central Communications attached to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Askar Zhumagaliev, Minister of Transport and Communications, informed that laying of 800 km of pavement had been completed within the Project “Western Europe –Western China” out of planned 700 km for the current year. 

- «We have laid for 100 km more, than we have planned. Laying of similar road section for the highway is supposed to complete next year, i.e. 2013. It should be mentioned here that due to the implementation of the Road Project “Western Europe – Western China” more than 35 thousand of the road builders have been provided with the job, - summarized the Head of Transport Department.
