Bishkek (AKIpress) - Kazakhstan underscores importance of transport connections, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the 13th session of the Council of the Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization said on September 13 in Bishkek.

The President expressed hope for the soonest signing of the agreement on creation of favorable conditions for international transportation.

“We need to use available infrastructure, including Western China-Western Europe international transit corridor, Kazakhstan's section of which will be completed in 2015, the railway from China to the Caspian Sea, which is due by 2015. All these communications can be used by SCO countries beneficially,” President Nazarbayev stated.
