Strategy2050.kz. Kazakhstan laid 707 km of transit corridor ‘Western Europe-Western China’

To date, for the first nine months of 2013, 707 km of the "Western Europe - Western China" road has been laid in the same direction, the Deputy Chairman of Motor Roads Committee under the Ministry of Transport and Communications Satzhan Ablaliyev said in the interview with Strategy2050.kz.

"Currently 707 km of the "Western Europe - Western China" road has been laid in the same direction. It is planned to complete construction for over 806 km by the end of the year," S. Ablaliyev said.

He noted that construction is going at a full speed in Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and South Kazakhstan regions.

In addition, the construction works started in Almaty region. Aktobe-Martuk area and northern bypass of Aktobe city will be launched by the end of this year.

Since the implementation of the project transit corridor "Western Europe - Western China" road construction has been completed on 1,622 km.
